Plushpedia Support

Help, questions, and contact — for anyone using Plushpedia.

From the developer

I'm a solo developer, and I built Plushpedia for a friend's daughter. She has Down syndrome, is non-verbal, and absolutely loves her stuffed animals. I wanted to give each one a name, a little story, and a place on a shelf she could call her own — a way for her to "meet" her plushies and share them, even without words.

That's still the heart of the app. It's grown to identify almost any plush, estimate what collector pieces are worth, and tell bedtime stories starring your own toys — but it started as something simple and personal, and I'm still building it with that same care. If something's missing, off, or could be friendlier, I genuinely want to hear it. Every bit of feedback shapes what comes next.

Contact

The fastest way to reach me is email: plushpedia.support@proton.me. Replies usually come within 1–3 days.

Report a bad scan

Plushpedia's identifications come from AI, and it isn't always right. If a scan gets a plushie wrong, email plushpedia.support@proton.me with the photo (or what it should have been) and I'll use it to make the app better. Thank you for helping.

Common questions

How does scanning work?

Snap or pick a photo of a stuffed animal and Plushpedia returns its name, type, a short story, and fun facts. For collectible plush it also estimates the brand, line, rarity, and a ballpark value range.

What's free, and what's Premium?

Free gives you 3 scans a day and a shelf of up to 5 saved plushies. Plushpedia Premium unlocks unlimited scans, an unlimited collection, sharing your whole shelf, estimated value & rarity on every scan, and bedtime stories starring your plushies.

What does Premium cost?

$19.99/year or $3.99/month — both with a 3-day free trial — or a one-time $29.99 lifetime unlock. Prices may vary by region and are shown before you buy.

Are the value estimates exact?

No. They're a friendly ballpark based on public resale signals, meant to give you a sense of a plush's collectibility — not a formal appraisal. Please don't rely on them for buying, selling, or insurance decisions.

Do you track me or keep my photos?

No accounts, no ads, no third-party trackers, and the photos you scan aren't stored. See the full privacy policy.

Manage your subscription

The $29.99 lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase — there's nothing to manage or cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
